    Job Tasks include:

    A) Product Management

    • Maximize sales through clever assortment strategies and targeted market segmentation
    • Track and analyze products through system tools frequently
    • Communicate product analysis results with product development team
    • Organize all incoming product collections with all related parties
    • Propose and finalize product pricing strategies with merchandising managers
    • Maintain product knowledge in order for internal knowledge sharing
    • Prepare proposals for markdown / clearance for outdated / slow-moving styles
    • Weekly to monthly product analysis reports based on useful retail metrics

    B) Procurement Management

    • Prepare purchase orders according to inventory needs and strategic planning
    • Track status for all purchase orders to ensure smooth supply chain
    • Manage purchase orders within annual purchasing budget
    • Analyze and adjust order quantities according to market demand
    • Maintain communication and relationships with key vendors / suppliers
    • Co-operate with suppliers / partners to solve any field issues
    • Report any disruptions or status changes to merchandising manager

    C) Promotion Management

    • Timely coordination on all store events and product promotions with marketing
    • Communicate all confirmed promotions from marketing to field sales personnel
    • Communicate promotional programs to marketing teams, for them to create the artworks and jointly execute promotional programs
    • Suggest slow-moving products to marketing for higher exposure

    D) Inventory Management

    • Maximize sales through effective supply-chain and inventory management
    • Maintain healthy and balanced inventory levels for all sales points
    • Participate in occasional stock take across sales points
    • Handle and process all defective inventory quickly
    • Report any discrepancies in inventory to audit or management

     
    Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years of merchandising experience in retail footwear / mid to high end fashion
    • High drive for results and willing to adapt or learn
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build consensus and foster cooperation across various departments
    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word
    • Ability to speak and write English a plus
    • User experience with RetailPro 9 or SAP a plus
